Preschool

Our three-year old Preschool Program (Jacob's Ladder) is for children still potty training or completed potty training. We offer a collaborative curriculum which supports Maine's Early Learning & Development Standards and teaches social skills. Some of our curriculum and activities are done together as a larger group and some are done in smaller groups. A typical day can consist of a variety of activities such as: Circle time, Bible time, letter recognition, numbers, colors, story time, songs, art, music and movement, outdoor play, free play, gross motor and fine motor activities, and much more.

Individual portfolios are completed over the course of the year to document each child's progress in learning. These portfolios become a keepsake for the family at the end of the school year.

We encourage parent and caregiver participation and offer many events and activities throughout the year for families.
